PADI Scuba Instruction & Courses
Guests aboard are offered diving as one of our activities. If you decide that snorkeling just doesn't fit the bill, Cuan Law’s instructors offer a Discover Scuba Diving/Resort Course.
The clear warm waters of the BVI serve as your classroom and test ground for your open water diving. We also do many Open Water Referrals where we finish the certification for students that have done the classroom and pool work in advance of their trip. Experienced divers will find we have plenty of excitement to offer them.
Resort Course (Discover Scuba Diving) –
up to 4 dives
$145 - Included: instruction, equipment rental and PADI book
Under the watchful supervision of an Instructor, students are offered up to four scuba dives in shallow, calm water in addition to the instruction and execercises in standing depth water.
Open Water Referral – 4 dives
$200 plus $20 for PADI Pic card (plus equipment rental if required)
If guests want to be certified, we strongly advise people to do their pool and class work before they arrive. Bring a referral letter from your instructor and complete your open water dives on board. This maximizes your vacation time.
Advanced Open Water Certification – 5 dives
$150 plus $20 for PADI Pic card (plus equipment rental if required)
This course develops your skills and introduces you to night diving, deep diving, underwater navigation and 2 - 6 other specialties you choose with your instructor.
The instructors aboard Cuan Law offer other specialty courses to experienced divers. These vary in length and cost so talk to our instructors about them.
We cannot take any Discover Scuba Diving/Resort Course divers below 40' due to regulations by American Certifying Authorities. Before their first dive with us, all certified divers must produce their 'C' card and a PADI self-declaration medical form. When you board you will also be asked to sign a liability release form.
