Sailing Cruise Itinerary
There are dozens of islands, cays, beaches and anchorages
in the BVI and over one hundred dive and snorkel spots, so the itinerary
varies
from week to week and season to season. The Captain will sit
down with the guests on the first day and tailor a trip to suit their
preferences.
This is just a sample itinerary to give you some idea of what
we do.Start at noon at CSY Dock, Road Town, Tortola.
1st night: White Bay, Peter Island for beaching and snorkeling
2nd day: Sail to Salt Island for snorkeling and diving
the wreck of the Rhone and a ramble ashore. After lunch a sail
up to Long Bay, Virgin Gorda for late after noon water sports.
3rd day: E ride in the speed boats for a look at the lovely
Lawrence Rockerfeller resort of Little Dix Bay. For the energetic
a fine 45 minute hike on a splendid trail to Savanna Bay, one
of the loveliest beaches in the BVI. After lunch, sail to Eustatia sound
for
a reef encumbered
anchorage from which several land visits are possible including
the Bitter End.
4th day: A morning trip to snorkel at Necker Island, followed
by a sail to Muskmellon Bay on Guana Island for all sorts
of things to do in this beautiful anchorage, culminating in a
walk up a cliff path for
a spectacular sunset view with a hamper of champagne!
5th day: Sail to the famous little island of Jost Van Dyke
for a day of every possible activity including a visit to
the world famous “Soggy
Dollar Bar” and “Foxy’s”.
6th day: Early morning start for a long trip to the Baths
on Virgin Gorda for the beach barbecue. Following an afternoon
exploring the Baths above and below the water, we will enjoy
a peaceful down wind, sunset
sail with hors d’oevres on the top deck. The last night will be
spent in Great Harbor, Peter Island.
7th morning: Sail to Road Town for drop off.
